Pakistan off-spinner Abdul Rehman on Tuesday rubbished the reports of taking performance enhancing drugs.
"Frankly speaking I really don't know how this test has come positive because I don't remember taking any medicines or prohibited items that might contain banned substances," said the 32-year-old Pakistan spin bowler.
The left-arm orthodox bowler from Sialkot was apparently tested for prohibited drugs during his stint with English county Somerset, and the ECB is likely to sanction him within the next 48 hours. Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board has withdrawn him from Sialkot Stallions squad, which is due to represent the country in the just to begin Champions League T20 in South Africa.
