The beautiful mixed beginnings of dry ingredients, which we will turn into decadent cupcakes! Here are the vegan chocolate cupcakes I promised a couple days ago. And the recipe if you so choose to go find and follow it into a dangerous pile of desserts? mmm. My mom used to make this chocolate cake called a wacky cake- so incredibly moist and divine- which I realized was similar to this recipe. It?s basically the same concept with the oil and vinegar and no butter or eggs. I always loved that cake so I was excited to realize they were almost the same thing! And if you run over to the recipe, read the comments too; they?re helpful and informative.
There is something kind of comforting and wonderful about flouring baking pans. And the flour that flies everywhere in the kitchen! (Makes me feel like Prudy in ?Support Your Local Sheriff?? okay, okay, you probably have no idea what I?m talking about? never mind.) I also have a love for old, rusty, well-used pans: makes you feel like you?re part of the old days or something. Okay, time for the oven!
Is it weird that I took a picture of them baking through the oven door? Oh well. I thought it was kinda cool anyway. Bear with me. See how they?re slowly popping up into little dome-tops? So cute. It?s baking love right there. I never get tired of seeing my efforts in the bowl transform into beautifully baked up goods, just like they?re meant to. I guess it means I succeeded, each little time. So, you want to see these all done, frosted and ready to be devoured? Okay!
I just really wish I could share these with you all because they put a smile on my face, so yummy! I?m sorry that I can?t beam one to you each right now. The people who got to devour them loved them! Go make a batch for yourself? you?ll be glad you did.
